<p>It is possible to provide a highly reliable semiconductor device and a communication method which have a large degree of freedom of clock frequency which can be set in each of circuits, a decisive operation, and a small communication latency, and in which communication can be performed between the circuits. The semiconductor device includes: a first circuit which performs a process in accordance with a first clock signal equal to a second clock signal frequency multiplied by M/N (N is an integer and M is a positive integer greater than N); a second circuit which performs a process in accordance with the second clock signal; and a communication timing control circuit which generates a communication timing signal for controlling the timing for the first circuit to communicate with the second circuit. The communication timing control circuit generates frequency ratio information which sets a frequency ratio between the first clock signal and the second clock signal and a communication timing signal decided by the phase relation information indicating the phase relation between the first clock signal and the second clock signal.</p> |
