<p>It is intended to provide a method for simply producing hyaluronic acid in high yield. Further, it is also intended to provide a method for producing hyaluronic acid in a short time. According to the invention, the method for producing hyaluronic acid including the steps of: culturing a microorganism having an ability to product hyaluronic acid; and adding glutamine and arginine to a culture solution at a late logarithmic growth stage of the microorganism is provided.</p>
