PURPOSE: A horizontal multi-tube solar collector is provided to improve heat collection efficiency by heating a thermal medium with solar heat concentratively while the thermal medium is passing through heat collecting copper pipes. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal multi-tube solar collector comprises a case(2), a solar heat reflector(4), a horizontal multi-tube type heat collecting pipe(5), a diaphragm(7a) for flow path formation, and a tempered glass plate(10). The case is of a square box form in which a heat insulator is installed. The solar heat reflector is attached to the surface of the heat insulator in the case. The horizontal multi-tube type heat collecting pipe includes a thermal medium circulating pipe(6) with both ends closed, a thermal medium oil pipe(7) with both ends open, and a plurality of heat collecting copper pipes(8) which are horizontally installed between the thermal medium circulating pipe and the thermal medium oil pipe. The diaphragm for flow path formation is fixed in the middle portion of the thermal medium oil pipe to form a U-shaped flow path in the heat collecting copper pipes. The tempered glass plate is installed on the top of the case to form an air layer inside the case.
