PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device capable of detecting an absolute rotation angle equal to or more than 360 degrees of a steering wheel without using an absolute angle sensor as a steering angle sensor.SOLUTION: A rack bar is provided with a first rack gear zone featured in a first transmission ratio, a second rack gear zone featured in a second transmission ratio that is different from the first transmission ratio and a connection part featured with a third transmission ratio so as to change gradually from the first transmission ratio to the second transmission ratio. When a ratio between a rotation amount detected by a steering angle sensor and a rotation amount detected by a motor rotation angle sensor is recognized as a ratio when the rack gear meshes with the connection part, an absolute angle is determined as a connection part steering angle that is an angle when the rack gear meshes with the connection part. |
