PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water paint composition excellent in finished appearance of a paint film, such as coloring, blackness and smoothness.SOLUTION: The water paint composition contains: (A) a copolymer of (a) a polymerizable unsaturated monomer having a cationic functional group represented by the general formula (1) and/or a polymerizable unsaturated monomer having a cationic functional group represented by the general formula (2), (b) a polymerizable unsaturated monomer having a polyoxyalkylene chain, and (c) another polymerizable unsaturated monomer; (B) a pigment; and (C) an acrylic resin containing acid groups and hydroxy groups. |
