PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedestrian protection airbag device capable of improving designability of a vehicle while excellently maintaining pedestrian protection performance.SOLUTION: A pedestrian protection airbag device 10 includes: an airbag case 28 which is disposed on a lower surface side of a hood rear end section 18A so that a vehicle width direction becomes a longitudinal direction and has an intermediate section 28B in the vehicle width direction which has a sectional height which is cut in a vertical direction along a vehicle longitudinal direction and is formed to be lower than a sectional height in a general section 28A; a pair of inflators 32 stored at both ends in the vehicle width direction of the intermediate section 28B in the airbag case 28; and an airbag which is folded and stored in the airbag case 28, and is inflated and deployed to a vehicle rear side from between the hood rear end section 18A and a windshield glass by pressure of gas generated by the inflators 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
