PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device and a control method for touch panel, capable of improving operability whether or not a user is wearing a glove or even when a type of glove worn by a user is different.SOLUTION: An input device comprises: a touch panel 1; display means 2 which is provided so as to be superposed on the touch panel 1; measurement means 11 capable of measuring a value of capacitance of the touch panel 1; and sensitivity setting means 12 for setting a sensitivity of the touch panel 1 in accordance with the value of capacitance measured by the measurement means 11. The sensitivity setting means 12 increases the sensitivity of the touch panel 1 as a first value which corresponds with a radius or a diameter of a circle approximating an area in which the value of capacitance measured by the measurement means 11 has changed increases.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
