<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a nonlinearity compensation apparatus and a nonlinearity compensation method for compensating nonlinearity in a channel; and a transmitter. <P>SOLUTION: A nonlinearity compensation apparatus comprises: an information sequence acquisition unit to acquire a symbol information sequence of an input pulse signal at a transmission end; a perturbation amount acquisition unit; and a signal compensation unit. The perturbation amount acquisition unit calculates a weighting sum of pulse mutual action items at one or a plurality of times with respect to a current time, acquires an amount of perturbation generated on a transmission link having a predetermined length, and performs a predetermined phase rotation with respect to the acquired amount of perturbation. The signal compensation unit calculates a difference between the symbol information sequence and the amount of perturbation after the phase rotation, acquires a symbol information sequence after compensation, and allows the transmission end to transmit a signal on the basis of the symbol information sequence after the compensation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
