This lift-type parking device allows the height of a top level pallet with respect to a bottom level pallet on the loading and unloading side to be greater when the bottom pallet is in a raised state than when the bottom level pallet is in a landed state by way of: providing, on the loading and unloading side of a top level pallet 10, an inclined face that inclines from a vehicle loading face toward the ground T; providing, on the loading and unloading side of the bottom of a pair of pallet posts 30, floating mechanisms 40FL, 40FR whereby the pallet posts 30 move vertically with respect to a bottom level pallet 20; and making the height H1 of a top level pallet 10 with respect to the bottom level pallet 20 on the loading and unloading side when the bottom level pallet 20 is in landed state in a pit P to be lower than the height H2 of the top level pallet 10 with respect to the bottom level pallet 20 on the loading and unloading side when the bottom level pallet 20 is out of the pit P in a raised state. |
