<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress developer from separating off from a developer carrier between a scattering suppressing member arranged in a scattering suppression target area and the outer peripheral surface of the developer carrier, and thereby suppressing scattering of developer. <P>SOLUTION: A magnet roller 82 arranged inside a developing sleeve 81 rotates along a rotation direction of the developing sleeve, and a scattering suppressing member 85 is provided in a scattering suppression target area that is adjacent to the downstream side in the rotation direction of the developing sleeve in a developing area. The scattering suppressing member has a developing sleeve opposing surface 85a that is opposite to the outer peripheral surface of the developing sleeve and curves along the curved surface of the outer peripheral surface of the developing sleeve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
