Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and device for resource mapping, relating to the field of communications, and flexibly realizing resource mapping of channels or signals. Obtaining first information, the first information being used for indicating the resource block location of a cyclic shift start point or the resource block location of a cyclic shift end point for resource mapping of a first channel or a first signal on the bandwidth used by a user equipment and in a manner of cyclic shift of resource blocks; according to the manner of cyclic shift of resource blocks, and the first information, determining the resource mapping location of the first channel or the first signal on the bandwidth used by the user equipment; and receiving or transmitting the first channel or the first signal at the resource mapping location. The method and device for resource mapping are used for mapping resources.
