Disclosed is a foldable bicycle that maintains the geometrical and structural configuration of conventional race, road or mountain bikes, and which comprises a frame formed by four bars: an upper bar that joins a handlebar and the upper part of a seat bar; a lower bar that joins the handlebar and the lower part of the seat bar; a handlebar and a seat bar, such that the upper bar is secured to the seat bar by an articulated and dismantlable joint having an axis perpendicular to the plane of the bicycle and the lower bar is secured to the handlebar and to the seat bar by respective articulated joints that also have an axis perpendicular to the plane of the bicycle, the movements of folding and unfolding being produced in the plane of the bicycle. |
