PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the presence or absence of a load in any region of a human body.SOLUTION: A load detection device 1 comprises a first calculation unit 1a, a second calculation unit 1b, and a determination unit 1c. The first calculation unit 1a calculates a first angle indicating the inclination of a region 2a of a subject 2 on the basis of a first measurement result obtained by an acceleration sensor 3 fitted to the subject 2. The second calculation unit 1b calculates a second angle indicating the inclination of the region 2a on the basis of a second measurement result of the subject 2 obtained by another sensor of a kind different from the acceleration sensor 3. The determination unit 1c determines the presence or absence of a load on the region 2a on the basis of the difference between the first angle and the second angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
