<p>The possibilities available to pay television subscribers are more and more varied and cater for the expectations of consumers. In order to be able to customise products offered to subscribers, it is important to be able to determine the criteria underlying a particular offer by using not only the subscriber's parameters but in accordance with parameters which can concern a plurality of subscribers. The inventive method consists in storing in a distributed database management centre, the whole set of database images and in performing operations aimed at fulfilling a condition on the whole set of database images. Thus, if the a non-null result concerning the condition is obtained in return, the order is sent for the group of databases concerned.</p> |
