The present invention proposes a communication system and method for the associative communication of a mobile terminal and a fixed terminal. The system receives the register information from a mobile terminal, and then establishes a mapping relationship between the mobile terminal and a corresponding fixed terminal according to the register information of the mobile terminal. When some other communication device wants to communicate with the mobile terminal, the mapping relationship will be sent to the communication device so that the communication device can establish a communication connection with the corresponding fixed terminal to reduce the cost or enhance QOS.
