An electron emission display and a driving method thereof are provided to reduce the brightness difference between pixels in a pixel unit by changing the voltage difference between gate and cathode electrodes according to the number of emitting pixels. An electron emission display includes a pixel unit(100), a data driver(200), a scan driver(300), and an adjuster(500). The pixel unit receives a data signal and a variable scan signal and displays an image. The data driver generates the data signal and transmits it to the pixel unit. The data driver changes a transmission timing of the data signal and delivers changed result to the pixel unit. The scan driver generates a scan signal and delivers the scan signal to the pixel unit. The adjuster calculates the number of emitting pixels from the pixel unit. The adjuster adjusts an output timing of the data signal according to the calculated number.
