ETHERCAT-BASED NETWORK SYSTEM AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An EtherCat-based network system and an operation method thereof are provided to allow a host computer to automatically generate a PDO list for operating slave devices and allow a master device to automatically connect and operate a slave device corresponding to the operation PDO list. CONSTITUTION: An EtherCat-based network system comprises slave devices(300-1~300-n); a master device(200) configured to connect and operate the slave devices in response to an operating transmission PDO list or an operating reception PDO list provided from outside; and a host computer(100) configured to extract the operating transmission PDO list or the operating reception PDO list from information file of the slave devices and provide to the master device. The information file includes at least one of identity information of the slave devices, PDO list item changeable information, a transmission PDO list, and a reception PDO list.
