PURPOSE: A handover method for a local area wireless communication network to a broadband wireless communication network, and a device thereof are provided to continuously offer a communication service by automatically handover between the local area wireless communication network and the broadband wireless network. CONSTITUTION: A wireless communication unit(150) executes wireless communication with a local area wireless communication network and a broadband wireless communication network. A control unit(160) controls the wireless communication unit in order to handover data from the local area wireless communication unit to the broadband wireless communication network. When the number of the confirmed integrity failure is greater than the maximum number of the predetermined integrity failure and the number of the confirmed re-transmission is greater than the maximum number of the retransmission, the control unit controls the wireless communication unit to handover the data from the local area wireless communication network to the broadband wireless communication network.
