<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric porcelain composition which can make the high temperature load life compatible with capacitance temperature characteristics even when a dielectric layer of an electronic component is made thin, and which has satisfied reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The dielectric porcelain composition has a main component containing BaTiO<SB>3</SB>, a forth sub-component containing at least the oxide of R1 (where, R1 expresses at least one kind selected from Y, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb and Lu) and a fifth sub-component containing at least the oxide of R2 (where, R2 expresses at least one kind selected from Dy, Tb, Gd and Eu), wherein the number of total mols of R1 and R2 are 2-6 mols per 100 mols of the main component expressed in terms of R1 and R2 and the ratio of the fifth sub-component to the total mole number of R1 and R2 per 100 mols of the main component has a relation, 0.5≤R2/(R1+R2)≤0.75. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
