<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a customized wheelchair, which has a back plate and a seat plate of a body shape copy type having the same shape as the back and hip of a user, and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a wheelchair having a back plate and a seat plate includes steps of: forming a preliminary molding material 10 which is directly formed to fit the back and hip of the user; fixing the preliminary molding material 10 to a molding frame 20; filling a foaming resin 50 in the molding frame 20 fixed with the preliminary molding material 10; hardening the foaming resin 50 filled in the molding frame 20 for prescribed time; and releasing a last molding material 70 which is foamed and hardened to have the shape of the back and the hip of the user by the preliminary molding material 10. Thus, the back plate and the seat plate having the exactly same shape as the body shape of the user can be manufactured by anyone in a short period of time at a very low cost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
