PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content recording device, control program, recording medium, and control method, which can variously express information to guide use of the device with low cost. SOLUTION: A guide image is generated in order to guide use of the content recording device based on a guide content data among a plurality of content data stored in a storage means, and a process is executed to display the guide image on a display device.
