The method involves accomplishing computation of statistics of a support structure. Elements of the support structure are dimensioned according to results of the computation. The support structure is designed from the elements. Casing panels (4) are connected with the support structure. The statistic characteristics of the casing panels are considered during computation of the statistics of the support structure. An independent claim is also included for a cold box with a support structure.
