<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism enabling a machine readable label (MRL) reader to provide highly relevant information, or processing related to an item to which a MRL device is installed while considering a state related to a user such as user's personal preference or user environment. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal includes a processing means which is configured to scan first information having identification information for an object, store the first information in a memory, process the first information to generate a message including the first information and second information, store the message until a network becomes usable or while the network is not usable, transmit the message to a server when the network becomes usable, receive an answer message from the server, store the answer message, and provide at least part of the answer message to the user through a user interface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
