<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in which even if a steering wheel is detached from a rotator, the rotator will not rotate freely, and release of a state in which its rotation is restrained can be carried out without problems, by remounting of the steering wheel. <P>SOLUTION: In a state that the steering wheel 16 is detached from the rotator 3, it is restrained in a rotation stoppage state by means that the convex part (engaging part) 11 of a lock member 10 installed on the rotator 3 side is engaged with one of recess parts (engaged part) 15 installed on the stator 2 side, the rotator 3 is restrained in a rotation stop state. Accordingly, the rotator 3 becomes not to be rotated freely; and moreover, when the steering wheel 16 is mounted, another end part 10c of lock member 10 is pressed by this, the convex part 11 of the opposite side is separated from the recess 15, and these engagements are released.
