<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing member for a fuel tank preventing fuel tank damage due to rising of interior pressure and to provide a fuel cell with the reinforcing member. <P>SOLUTION: The reinforcing member for the fuel tank of the fuel cell is provided with a first plate state part covering a surface whose amount of expansion is the greatest due to rising of interior pressure in the fuel tank among wall surfaces of the fuel tank.
