<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be surely adapted to the alveolar ridge of each patient and to improve impression accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: In the production method of the dental impression tray TA with a tray main body 1 provided with a sidewall 3 integrally formed with a bottom part 2 for holding an impression material for transferring the shape of the alveolar ridge GA inside an oral cavity, a vertical dimension YA between a mucosa turning part H (YA1) on a residual ridge center line in the cross direction of the alveolar ridge GA and the other (YA2) corresponding to a specified cross width XA relating to the side edge of the tray main body 1 is set, a horizontal dimension DA between the mucosa turning parts H on a line orthogonal to the alveolar ridge center line corresponding to a specified lateral width LA relating to the side edge of the tray main body 1 is set, and the vertical dimension YA and the horizontal dimension DA are measured.
