<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field electron emitting source wherein carbon nanotubes are uniformly dispersed in a film base material; the tips of the carbon nanotubes protrude from the surface of the film base material while keeping equal heights, and uniform emission is possible when used as a light emitting element. <P>SOLUTION: In this field electron emitting source to discharge electrons from an electron discharging film 20 provided on an electrode substrate 10, the electron discharge film 20 is provided with the film base material 22 having adhesive action, and conductive fine particles 24 are mixed with carbon nanotubes 26 in the film base material 22 in a prescribed mixing ratio by weight. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
