<p>A method and an apparatus for advanced treatment of sewage and wastewater using a sequencing batch reactor are provided to maximize removal of nitrogen and phosphorous and reduce the aeration power cost by treating a separately cultivated activated sludge in the reactor, thereby constantly maintaining a ratio of F/M(food to microorganism) in the reactor. In a method for treatment of sewage and wastewater using a sequencing batch reactor, comprising an inflow process, an aeration process, a settling process and a discharge process of sewage and wastewater, a method for advanced treatment of sewage and wastewater using the sequencing batch reactor is characterized in that the inflow process comprises injecting raw water into a sequencing batch reactor for treatment of sewage and wastewater continuously or intermittently, and the aeration process comprises injecting cultivated activated sludge multiplied in a microorganism medium into the reactor and aerating the cultivated activated sludge intermittently such that a value of [mixed liquor volatile suspended solid(MLVSS) in an aeration tank/mixed liquor suspended solid(MLSS) in the aeration tank]x100 maintains 70% or more.</p> |
