PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seatback pad having excellent shock-absorbing property when being hit by an occupant seated in a rear seat, and a seatback having the seatback pad. SOLUTION: The seatback pad 1 comprises a seatback pad body 2, a shock-absorbing material 3 provided on a back side of the seatback pad body 2, and a supporter material 5 to cover the shock-absorbing material 3. An expansion part 6 is expanded from an upper portion of the seatback pad 10, and the shock-absorbing material 3 is arranged on the front side of the expansion part 6.
