PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform control of a battery provided in a printer.SOLUTION: A printer 2 comprises: a battery 21 which is charged by a charger 3; a printing part 23 which is supplied with power from the battery 21 and executes printing; and an SOC 211 which controls the printing part 23. The SOC 211 stops charging of the battery 21 when the temperature of the battery 21 is equal to or greater than the preset charging control temperature and resumes charging to the battery 21 with the charger 3 by transmitting a CHG-ON signal to the charger 3 when a charging resumption condition for resuming charging is established.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
