An air conditioner comprises: a bottom shell (10); an air duct cover plate (20) connected to the bottom shell (10), an air duct (30) being formed between the bottom shell (10) and the air duct cover plate (20); a centrifugal impeller (40), the centrifugal impeller (40) being pivotally disposed on the bottom shell (10) and located inside the air duct (30); and a volute tongue (50), the volute tongue (50) being located at an air outlet of the air duct (30), a volute tongue gap (33) connecting an inner side area (31) and an air outlet area (32) of the air duct (30) being formed between the volute tongue (50) and the centrifugal impeller (40), a pressure relief channel (34) used to connect the inner side area (31) and the air outlet area (32) of the air duct (30) being disposed at the volute tongue (50), and the pressure relief channel (34) being located on an outer side in an radial direction, away from the centrifugal impeller (40), of the volute tongue gap (33). Because the pressure relief channel (34) is disposed at the volute tongue (50), when wind flows between the inner side area (31) and the air outlet area (32), a part of gas pressure is guided by the pressure relief channel (34) to be relieved, thereby reducing gas pressure at the volute tongue (50), and further effectively reducing noise at an air outlet, especially, at the volute tongue (50); at the same time, vibrations of an air conditioner are reduced, thereby improving operating reliability of the air conditioner.
