PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer for a drop-in handle that enables a grip part of a cover or a door to be retained at any height from a surface of the cover or the door and returned to the surface of the cover or the door after work is finished, in order to eliminate an inconvenience when the cover or the door with the drop-in handle is opened/closed continuously that the grip part of the drop-in handle needs to be pulled up each time.SOLUTION: A retainer for a drop-in handle is used with the drop-in handle fitted on a cover or a door, to have a leg part of the drop-in handle on an inner side of the cover or the door inserted through a holding ring and a bearing plate fitted on the cover or the door. The retainer for the drop-in handle causes the holding ring to slide and stay at a prescribed position when the cover or the door is opened/closed, and keeps the holding ring on the bearing plate and retains a grip part of the drop-in handle at any height from a surface of the cover when the grip part is let go.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
