PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selectively detecting a living cell of a microorganism contained in a test sample which includes at least one type (proteins) of peptide and protein while discriminating from a dead cell and a damaged cell quickly and highly sensitively by a simple process, and a detection kit for simply executing the method.SOLUTION: A method for detecting a living cell of a microorganism in a test sample containing proteins while discriminating from a dead cell or a damaged cell includes following processes: a) a process of mixing and processing a test sample containing proteins and aqueous solution containing protease; b) a process of mixing and processing at least one type of metal complex selected from platinum complex, palladium complex or iridium complex into a processed product obtained in the a) process; c) a process of amplifying a target region of DNA or RNA of a microorganism contained in the test sample by a nucleic acid amplification method regarding the processed product obtained in the b) process; and d) a process of analyzing an amplification product obtained in c) process.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
