PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbing body for an ink-jet printer, which is excellent in liquid absorbing capacity, absorbed liquid holding capacity, dimension stability and permeability. SOLUTION: This ink absorbing body for an ink-jet printer contains chemical fibers and/or natural fibers and extremely fine fibers, the total surface area per unit volume (cm2/cm3) is 450-800, and after blending and carding the fibers, the ink absorbing body is fabricated by needle punching. |
