PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording material wherein a scratch resistance is favorable, and a head contamination is hard to occur, and also, a recording sensitivity is excellent, and an air bubble cloudiness is hard to occur as well. SOLUTION: In this heat-sensitive recording material, a supporting body is provided with at least a heat-sensitive recording layer, and the heat-sensitive recording material contains a compound represented by CH3CH2(CH2CH2)xCH2 CH2(OCH2CH2)yOH.
