PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate a rapeseed fraction containing rapeseed embryo buds as a main component in high purity by crushing rapeseed seeds, and to obtain a fatty oil, defatted refuses and proteins from a raw material containing the embryo buds as the main component. SOLUTION: This method for separating rapeseed embryo buds comprises crushing rapeseed seeds and then separating a fraction containing the embryo buds as a main component by a wind power classification method or with a sieve. The crushing process is carried out, for example, by subjecting the grains of the rapeseed seeds to a water- washing treatment, a sieving treatment, a magnetic or floating separation treatment, and so on to suitably remove foreign matters such as sand and metals, and then subjecting the treated rapeseed seeds to an impact type crushing machine for giving a rotation centrifugal force to the rapeseed seeds by the use of a high speed rotated disk and then colliding the forced rapeseed seeds with the inner wall, or the like, of the machine to crush the rapeseed seeds. It is preferable to separate a fraction containing the embryo buds in an amount of >=38 wt.%, preferably >=75 wt.%, more preferably >=95 wt.%, and a fatty acid, defatted residues and proteins are preferably produced from the embryo bud fraction as a raw material. |
