PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To express a protein derived from a nucleic acid-related substance by forming a complex composed of a polymer obtained by polymerizing a specific hydrophilic monomer with a monomer having positive charge and a nucleic acid-related substance having negative charge. SOLUTION: A complex composed of (A) a static charge-binding type polymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer composition comprising (i) a hydrophilic monomer having a group represented by the formula [R1 to R3 are each H or a 1-4C alkyl; (n) is an integer of 2-4] [e.g. 2-(meth) acryloyloxyethyl-2'-(trimethylammonio)ethyl phosphate and (ii) a charge monomer having positive charge (e.g. allylamine) and (B) a nucleic acid-related substance having negative charge (e.g. oligonucleotide) is formed and the complex is mixed with a cell and further, the protein derived from the above nucleic acid-related substance is expressed. Thereby, the protein free from toxicity to cells is expressed at a high expression ratio. |
