PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a guide block capable of reducing a material use quantity and having high production efficiency and its product. SOLUTION: In a production method to produce a guide block 1 consisting of a main body 8 of roughly plane shape and a leg integrated to the main body 8, by punching a stainless steel plate 2, a plate body 4, which has a plane shape smaller than the plane shape of the main body 8 and the distance between its side end edge and the side end edge of the main body 8 is substantially the same at any position, is produced, the plate body 4 is die forged between an upper die 20 and a lower die 22 to a forged plate 6 of the same shape as the main body 8, by pressing the forged plate in its thickness direction and straightening the camber of the forged plate 6, the main body 8 is produced and then the leg parts 10 are integrated to prescribed positions of the main body 8. |
