The side window roller blind has a rotatable roller blind shaft, positioned vertically adjacent a side edge (25) of the side window or horizontally adjacent the bottom edge (24) of the side window, receiving a roller blind web (31) matched in shape over at least part of its length to the shape of the side window, with operation of the roller blind via a pair of controlled motor with different rotation rates.
