PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image sensor such as a CCD, for improving light collection efficiency to a light reception part for photoelectric conversion and effectively utilizing incident light. SOLUTION: The solid-state image sensor 10 includes the light receiver 12 for photoelectric conversion, a light-shielding film 14 having an opening 14A corresponding to the light receiving surface 12A of the light receiver 12, and a color filter 17. An intermediate layer 16 formed of a highly refractive material comprising metal oxide particles dispersed in a resist is interposed between the light receiving surface 12A of the light receiver 12 and the color filter 17.
