PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect by means of an easy constitution that the accommodation of a first housing by a second housing is carried out in a half way manner in relation to a so-called split connector which is provided with the first housing having a contact accommodation room and the second housing to accommodate the first housing. SOLUTION: The first housing 110 has a projection 112 on the outer peripheral face 110a while the second housing 120 has an elastic arm which is lifted by the projection 112 before the first housing reaches a prescribed position after it is inserted, thus causing a protruded part to take place in the external form of the second housing 120 when the first housing 110 is accommodated at the prescribed position, in which lifting by the projection 112 is released when the first housing 110 reaches the prescribed position.
