MICROCHANNEL CHIP AND MICROORGANISM DETECTOR

Disclosed is a microchannel chip (10) comprising a microchannel (12), and channels (13, 14) connected with the microchannel (12) at two joints (13a, 14a) provided in the microchannel (12). In this microchannel chip (10), an enzyme for decomposing ATP is fixed to the inner wall face of the microchannel (12) on one end side relative to the two joints (13a, 14a). The microchannel chip enables to detect microorganisms (such as bacteria, true fungi) in a specimen with sufficiently high precision in a short time by a simple operation. Also disclosed is a microorganism detector using such a microchannel chip.
