<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inferior goods information input device and inferior goods information input method which can efficiently input a degree of failure of the inferior goods detected by visual observation. <P>SOLUTION: A hard disk 20D stores in advance picture information showing an assembly drawing of designated assembly object, and the above-mentioned location information showing a location in the above-mentioned assembly drawing of each part used for assembling the above-mentioned designated assembly object. A part is specified corresponding to the inferior goods in the above-mentioned assembly drawing displayed by the display 20F based on the above-mentioned picture information.
