PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed circuit board which is capable of recognizing identification information, even in a state in which the printed circuit board is incorporated in a device. SOLUTION: The printed circuit board is equipped with a foot pattern comprising of two or more pairs of terminals, and a seal which is pasted on the foot pattern and furnished with a conductor on its side facing the foot pattern for providing conduction between the prescribed pair of terminals of the foot pattern. Identification information is given by the signal level of the pair of terminals, where continuity is established by the conductor between them, and the signal level of the pair of terminals where continuity is not established between them. Accordingly, the signal level is extracted, whereby identification information can be ascertained electrically, even in a state in which the printed circuit board has been incorporated into the device.
