The invention relates to a tubular support coil (1) for radially supporting resiliently expanded tube material (8), consisting of at least one extruded profile body (2) which is wound to form a plurality of windings (33) and the end faces (3, 4) of which arc joined together in the longitudinal direction (L) of the support coil (1), at least in certain portions, and are locked together by a ratchet arrangement (12, 13) in the longitudinal direction (L) and by a tongue and groove arrangement (10, 11) in the radial direction. In order to provide a support coil which reliably withstands the compressive forces of the expanded tube material (8) and can easily be removed from the tube material, the invention provides for the tongue and groove arrangement (10, 11) to be spatially separated from the ratchet arrangement (12, 13). |
