<p>The growth and expansion of the Internet has encouraged companies as well as consumers to use the Internet for all kinds of purpose ranging from advertising to e-commerce to online shopping to blogging and news dissemination. The Internet is currently the fastest media to spread information. With the advent of the wireless age and proliferation of mobile devices, the Internet is projected to grow even more especially in the mobile wireless application arena. Increasingly, it is becoming a mammoth task for end-users to keep track of new events and updates on the Internet. Current event update management systems that allow mobile service users to keep track of updates from websites of their interest suffer from various inflexibilities and disadvantages. A disclosed embodiment of the disclosure describes a system and a method to address the problems faced by existing event update management systems.</p> |
