PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell for measuring an optical absorption spectrum, capable of measuring the optical absorption spectrum in a thin film state of a liquid sample. SOLUTION: This cell is provided with the first substrate 101, the second substrate 102, and a cavity 103 provided between the first substrate 101 and the second substrate 102, and capable of injecting the liquid sample, and the first substrate 101 forms a photo-waveguide of total-reflecting light on an interface with respect to the liquid sample in the cavity 103. The light L becomes incident into the first substrate 101 via a prism 104, and the light L is propagated repeating the total reflection in the first substrate 101. The light propagated in the waveguide is passed through a prism 105, and becomes incident thereafter into a detector through a spectrometer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
