<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient heating dehumidifier causing less noise. <P>SOLUTION: A laundry drier 200 includes a warm air passage portion 241, a wet air passage portion 242, a high-temperature-side heat exchanger portion 420 heating the gas passing through the warm air passage portion 241, a low-temperature-side heat exchanger portion 430 cooling the gas passing through the wet air passage portion 242, a circulation passage portion 243 having a nearly constant diameter and a Stirling engine 100 having a heat-generating head 140 and a heat-absorbing head 141. The high-temperature-side heat exchanger portion 420 comprises the heat-generating head 140 and a heating fin 421 arranged so as to come into contact with the heat-generating head 140, and the low-temperature-side heat exchanger portion 430 comprises the heat-absorbing head 141 and a cooling fin 431 arranged so as to come into contact with the heat-absorbing head 141.
