PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling apparatus capable of improving a cooling capacity by minimizing a pressure loss of a refrigerant communicating through an interior in an internal heat exchanger. SOLUTION: The cooling apparatus R is comprised by composing a refrigerant circuit 5 by annularly connecting a compressor 6, a radiator 7, an electronic expansion valve 8, and an evaporator 9 in sequence. The apparatus is equipped with a refrigerator unit 10 provided with the compressor 6 and the radiator 7, and a cooling unit 11 provided with the electronic expansion valve 8 and the evaporator 9. The refrigerant circuit 5 is composed by connecting the refrigerator unit 10 and one or a plurality of the cooling units 11 by communication piping 21, 22. The internal heat exchanger 30 carrying out heat exchange between a refrigerant from the radiator 7 and a refrigerant from the evaporator 9 is composed of a double tube, and the internal heat exchanger 30 is provided in the cooling unit 11.
