PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating device capable of suppressing the destabilization of compressing operation in a refrigerating system even if a compressor in stop is started in a state that the compressor which is already started exists, in the refrigerating device wherein a set of the compressors of a set of a lower stage-side compressor and a latter stage-side compressor connected with the lower stage-side compressor in series are disposed in parallel to the flow of the refrigerant. SOLUTION: The compressing element 302 includes a first compressing mechanism 303 having a compressing element 303c and a compressing element 303d further increasing the pressure of the refrigerant, and a second compressing mechanism 304 having a compressing element 304c and a compressing element 304d further increasing the pressure of the refrigerant. A starting bypass pipe 86 is disposed to prevent refrigerating machine oil from being taken out by allowing the refrigerant discharged from the compressing element 303c to be sucked form a discharge side of the compressing element 304c. The compressing element 303c and the compressing element 304c are connected at a suction side. The compressing element 303d and the compressing element 304d are joined at a discharge side.
